USAID Processing Development Program: Applications have been extended until 06/30/2025 for the “Agricultural Processing Development Program” (RPZ No. 11).
The USAID program provides that the amount of each subgrant may range from UAH 8,000,000 to UAH 40,000,000. Activities under this program include support for the restoration and development of processing capacities of enterprises. The implementation of the project will contribute to: improving and perfecting the processing of agricultural products in Ukraine for the purpose of import substitution, meeting domestic demand, as well as increasing the volume of exports of processed products.
This activity will support the development of the market for frozen, dried, canned products, cooked products and other ready-to-eat products, and will provide an opportunity to attract investments in the development of infrastructure (such as cold storage, storage equipment).
Measures may include:
preparation and presentation of an action program that will ensure an increase in the volume of processing of raw materials supplied by MSMEs;
purchase of specialized equipment for processing (drying, salting, canning, pasteurization, production of meat products, sorting, packing and packaging, etc.) of agricultural products;
purchase of specialized equipment for storage, including refrigeration equipment, and equipment for freezing products;
carrying out work on installing the equipment and putting it into operation.
